Mark Maki is senior vice president, corporate planning and sponsored vehicles, of Enbridge Inc. and president of Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. Mark assumed his current role with Enbridge Inc., in May 2018 and is responsible for corporate financial planning and Enbridge’s sponsored vehicles.  
 
Prior thereto, Mark was primarily accountable for supporting business unit decision making as well as the financial planning and analysis (FP & A) roles for the Enbridge group, including the corporate FP & A function of Enbridge.  Under Enbridge’s sponsored vehicle model, Mark was, and continues to be, responsible for Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P.  a U.S. based master limited partnership that operates the U.S. portion of Enbridge’s crude oil mainline, North Dakota system and the Cushing terminal. Mark has also served Enbridge as Acting President, Gas Pipelines and was responsible for oversight of our natural gas transportation business in the U.S. and Canada.
 
Mark has over 30 years of experience in accounting, financial planning, regulatory, internal audit and senior management with Enbridge in the United States and Canada. Prior to his appointments as Senior Vice President and President, Mark served as vice president, finance and was responsible for the income tax, internal audit, natural gas accounting, risk management, credit, SEC reporting and overall accounting functions for Enbridge in the U.S.   
 
He has also served as the principal financial officer for Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. in the United States; controller for Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P.; controller for Enbridge Pipelines, Inc.; and held various other managerial and accounting positions with the company since 1986. He is presently a member of the Board of Directors of the Master Limited Partnership Association. Mark is the former audit subcommittee chairman of the American Petroleum Institute (API). Mark was formerly a member of the Board of Directors and an officer for Midcoast Energy Partners, L.P.  
 
Mark received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Superior and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
