Company Also Contributes $10,000 Dollars to Veterans Charity ‘Folds of Honor’ As Part of Tournament Involvement
TULSA, OKLA., May 14, 2014 —
DCP Midstream (DCP), America’s leading natural gas gatherer and processor and the third-largest operator of natural gas liquids pipelines, today announced the results of its second annual charity golf tournament benefitting the Tulsa chapter of the American Heart Association.
DCP and its strategic partners raised $230,000 dollars at the charity golf tournament, while DCP’s employee giving program raised an additional $40,000 dollars. DCP also made a $50,000-dollar platform sponsorship, for a combined total of approximately $320,000 dollars. DCP’s strategic partners included top energy infrastructure services providers who have contributed to DCP’s growth in the Midcontinent area.
As part of the tournament, DCP donated $10,000 dollars to ‘
Folds of Honor’, the official charity partner of The Patriot Golf Club where this year’s event was held.
Folds of Honor serves the families of wounded or fallen service members by offering spouses and dependents the financial support they need to pursue higher education.
“The results of this year’s Tulsa fundraising efforts reinforce DCP’s commitment to corporate health and wellness, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our strategic partners who graciously donated their time and money,” said DCP’s Vice President of the Midcontinent Business Unit and Chair of the Tulsa Heart Walk Richard Bradsby. “DCP is equally committed to supporting veterans as many DCP employees are also veterans or have family members currently serving in the military. Supporting the military, especially veterans and their families, is very personal to us and we are extremely thankful that organizations like Folds of Honor exist.”
DCP’s $10,000 dollar donation will support three military families in the Tulsa region.
